Travel Vaccination Advice
If you are planning on Travelling abroad you should make an appointment with the nearest Travel Clinic who can administer vaccines needed.

Home Visits
Requests for house calls should be made by telephone to reception before 10am.
A Doctor or Nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a Nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
House Visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.

Telephone Appointment
Telephone appointments are available by request. These appointments are not suited to everyone as most illness requires the doctor to examine the patient. However there are times where this is not necessary and telephone advice is all that is required. Patient must give receptionist their details and contact telephone numbers. Patient should provide as much detail as possible to our Receptionist so they may pass accurate information to the Doctor to enable them to deal with the request as appropriate.
Patients will be given a time to expect a phone call from the Doctor, they should remain available at their contact telephone number as the Doctors are not always able to make second or third calls to contact patients. This system is required to enable Doctors to prioritise demands on their time and deal with emergencies. Nurse may also telephone patients on request to clarify test results or make arrangements for special clinics or services.
If you are telephoning about a medical emergency please state this clearly to the Receptionist who will endeavour to put you through to a Doctor as quickly as possible. DOCTORS WILL NOT TOLERATE ABUSE OF THIS PROVISION.
